'Colin Demét was born in Manchester, England in 1952. He studied psychology at Keele, Lancaster and Durham universaities and obtained a British Association Certificate of Counselling Skills. After marrying his Scottish born wife Annette, he retired to the tranquil Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland where he follows his life time's passion for writing.

Colin wakes up every morning with the words for the next pages of his book in his mind. This is how he adopted the name of the 'Wordcatcher'.
