HOUSEFUL OF FAERIES
I opened up the cupboard
and what did I see
I saw a tiny Faerie
In a cup and saucer meant
for tea
Sat that little tiny
Faerie
Oh what's your name and
who could you be
That little sprite she
said to me
"My name is Emily and
I am the keeper of the tinctures and the teas."
Then I opened up the freezer
and what did I see
I saw another little
tiny Faerie
He was wearing a scarf,
a hat and gloves
And he was sending out
wishes of the warmest love
Oh what's your name and
who could you be
That little pixie said
to me
"My name is Jeremy
Jeremy Faerie of the
deep deep freeze."
Into the backyard moonlight
I couldn't help but stare
The loveliest of Faeries
was dancing there
She whirled and she twirled
and she glided through the air
So full of love which
her dancing helped to share
Oh what's your name and
who could you be
"Athena of the dance
is what they call me.
When I lift my wings
my feet don't touch he ground
And it makes all the
children sing the sweetest sounds."
Later on that evening
as I crept into bed
I lifted up the pillow
upon which I lay my head
There slept a beauty
so little and so small
A sleeping Faerie and
the tiniest of all
Oh what's your name and
who could you be
In a tired voice that
Faerie said to me
"My name is Dulcea of
the Dreams
I bring in night time's
power and I bring in moon beams."
I've a houseful of Faeries
and a heartful of love
Evenings filled with
dreams from celestials above
Faeries love to sing
to dance and to share
And when you hear them
ringing bells it shows just how much they care
Oh, what's my name and
who could I be
I am Echoes of Light
Faerie of the Silver Stream
Warm and tender blessings
go from me to you
Your listening to my
song fills me up with gratitude
